Kada su imali 10 godina (1982.) duo se upoznao u kantini srednje škole John Sweet u Crockettu, Kalifornija. Billie Joeu je bilo 14 godina kada je napisao svoju prvu pjesmu "Why do you whan him", pjesmu o svojoj majci i očuhu. 1987. Billie Joe i Mike upoznali su bubnjara Johna Kiffmeyera (bolje poznatog kao Al Sobrante) i formirali bend " green day".
Prvu gažu su imali u Rod's Hickory Pit u Vallejou, Kalifornija. Ubrzo su već imali 17 godina i bili maturanti. Mike je maturirao, no Billie Joe je ispao dan prije svog 18-og rođendana. Njihov službeni debi album je izišao 1990. u kojem su bile sve do tada izdane pjesme (1,000 hours-prva pjesma, Sweet children i Slappy) pod nazivom "1039/Smoothed out slappy hours". Album je izdala lokalne izdavačka kuća Lookout!Records. Nedugo poslije, John Kiffmeyer je odlučio ostaviti bend i otići na faks pa su Billie Joe i Mike unovačili Franka Edwina Wrighta III., bolje poznatog kao Tre Coola. Tre Cool je debitirao na drugom albumu Green Day "Kerplunk!".
Prije nego su potpisali ugovor s velikom izdavačkom kućom već su odradili pet nacionalnih turneja. Potpisali su ugovor sa Reprise Recordsom u travnju 1993. i zatim snimili album "Dookie" koji im je donio svjetsku slavu. Na svojim sljedećim albumima "Insomniac" i "Nimrod" ostali su vjerni punk zvuku i stavu, te tako dokazali da nisu samo još jedan trendovski bend. Nakon uspjeha singla "Good riddance (Time of your life)" Green Day je uzeo dvogodišnji odmor.
2000. Green Day se ponovno pojavio na sceni sa svojim albumom "Warning". Nažalost, album nije bio najbolje prihvaćen od strane publike i fanova. Najveći hit je bio "Minority".
Kroz sljedeće četiri godine odradili su nekoliko turneja i izdali nekoliko kompilacijskih albuma - "International Superhits" i "Shenanigans", ali nije bilo novog materijala. Baš zato su fanovi bili (ugodno) iznenađeni kada je u rujnu 2004. izašao "American Idiot". Sa albuma je izvađeno mnogo hit singlova kao: naslovna pjesma "American idiot", "Boulevard of broken dreams", "Holiday", tužna balada "Wake me up when september ends", "Jesus of suburbia" i "St.Jimmy".
"Zakon braće" vraća se na male ekrane od nedjelje, 8. travnja, drugom sezonom u kojoj ćemo se uvjeriti kako je sam bijeg iz zatvora bio najlakši dio u ostvarenju ciljeva bjegunaca.
Zagreb, 30. ožujka 2007. - Premijerna sezona kriminalističke serije na RTL Televiziji dokazala nam je kako nema čvršćih zakona od "Zakona braće", a ogroman uspjeh koji je polučila priskrbio joj je dvije nominacije za Zlatni globus – za najbolju televizijsku seriju i najbolju glumačku izvedbu u televizijskoj seriji, Wentworthu Milleru, kao i nagradu za najbolju novu televizijsku seriju po izboru gledatelja.
Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) očajan je čovjek u bezizlaznoj situaciji – njegov brat, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), osuđen je na smrt zbog ubojstva za koje je Michael uvjeren da ga nije počinio. Ključni se dokazi ne pojavljuju, policija je već odavno zaključila slučaj i vremena je sve manje. Ostavši bez ikakvih drugih opcija, Michael svjesno odluči traljavo opljačkati banku, samo kako bi bio uhapšen i poslan u isti zatvor u kojem mu i brat čeka smrtnu kaznu, državnu kaznionicu Fox River State. Jednom kad se nađe u zatvoru, Michael, građevinski inženjer u posjedu svih zatvorskih nacrta, počne planirati bijeg, ali i način kojim bi dokazao Lincolnovu nevinost.
Uz pomoć partnera iz ćelije, Sucrea (Amaury Nolasco), Michael se polako povezuje sa skupinom različitih zatvorenika, uz čiju se pomoć svoj plan nada efikasnije ostvariti. Među njima su i bivši mafijaški šef John Abruzzi (Peter Stormare) te Charles Westmoreland (Muse Watson), čovjek za kojeg mnogi vjeruju kako je slavni, ali nepotvrđeni, otimač aviona D.B. Cooper. Izvan zatvorskih rešetaka Michael ima samo jednu saveznicu, svoju odvjetnicu i dugogodišnju prijateljicu, Lincolnovu bivšu djevojku, Veronicu Donovan (Robin Tunney). Za to vrijeme, bez nadzora svog strica, Lincolnov petnaestogodišnji sin L.J. (Marshall Allman) upada u loše društvo.
Svladavanjem brojnih prepreka, Michael i Lincoln, zajedno s još šest zatvorenika, uključujući džepara Tweenera (Lane Garrison) i mentalno nestabilnog Haywirea (Silas Weir Mitchell) uspiju pobjeći iz strogo čuvanog zatvora. Ali njihov bijeg neće proći bez posljedica. Michael je bio prisiljen izdati osobu koja mu je bila poput oca, nadzornika Henryja Popea (Stacy Keach), zatvorsku liječnicu Saru Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies), ključnu u provedbi zahtjevnog plana i istinski zaljubljenu u Michaela, koja se nakon njihovog bijega vratila drogi i predozirala. Osim toga, Westmoreland umire od ozljeda zadobivenih tijekom bijega, ali prije toga otkriva da je zaista D.B. Cooper i otkrije mjesto na kojem skriva preko pet milijuna dolara. Izvan zatvorskih zidina počinje bijeg u pravom smislu riječi – utrka za spašavanjem života i skrivenim novcem, a sve to u neprestanom bijegu od vlasti, koja im je za petama.
Naravno, snage reda su spremne na sve kako bi uhvatili prijestupnike. Njihove gonitelje predvodi FBI istražitelj Alexander Mahone (William Fichtner), pritisnut vlastitim demonima, osvetoljubivi zatvorski čuvar Brad Bellick (Wade Williams), koji se, vođen osobnom osvetom, neće zaustaviti dok bjegunci ne budu vraćeni iza rešetaka ili ubijeni, te tajni agent Paul Kellerman (Paul Adelstein), koji će učiniti sve što je potrebno da istina o uroti na visokom nacionalnom nivou, zbog koje je Lincoln i završio u zatvoru, ostane tajna.
Ova će sjajna kriminalistička serija svojom napetošću, atraktivnošću, sjajnom glumačkom postavom te izvrsnim scenarijem koji u pravilu na ekran prenose prvorazredni redatelji zasigurno osvojiti naklonost svih gledatelja željnih televizijskog doživljaja vrhunske kvalitete. evo ljudi ja se uljenio u vezi posteva..........................neznam vam ja šta bi piso pa onda......evo neznam ni sad...u školi je sve po starom....DOSADNO!!!osim što ju u srjedu bil odbojka...bilo vam natjecanje i mi igrali protiv 8.a i naravnopobjedili....onda nam došo 7.a i njih smo razbili...a sada finale...nažalost izgubili smo...jedna LOTA igra ko zvjerka..maltene nas je sama pobjedila...mislim igraju i ove njezine frendice dobro al nmisu imale ništ lopti pa nisu ništ pokazale....i tako .......ajd budite pozdravljeni booook.....

1. Bitno da negdje šutneš loptu!
2. Ako ne možeš više trčati-padni! Pravi se da si fauliran i odmaraj!
3. Nemoj brzo trčati! Možeš se zateći sam ispred gola i što ćeš onda?!
4. Ako nisi zadovoljan kako ti je ispala fotka u novinama, šutni loptu fotoreporteru
koji te snimio i potrudi se da mu pogodiš fotoaparat-da se nauči pameti!
5. Uvijek se buni protiv sučeve odluke! Što on uopće zna o nogometu?
6. Vraćaj golmanu loptu što više možeš kako bi izbjegao trčanje.
7. Pazi da ne uprljaš dres, fleke se vide i na TV prijenosu!
8. Pazi da ne pokvariš frizuru-i to se vidi na TV prijenosu!

Kako ubiti dosadu u liftu.....
1. Kada je pored tebe samo jedna osoba, lupni je po leđima pa se pravi
da nisi ti.
2. Pritisni gumb i pravi se da te udarila struja.
3. Zadrži vrata otvorena i reci da čekaš prijatelja. Par sekundi
kasnije zatvori vrata (praveći se da je netko ušao) i kaži:"E,di si
buraz, šta ima.."
4. Ponesi foto-aparat i slikaj sve prisutne.
5. Pravi se da si steward. Prisutnima objasni postupak u slučaju
opasnosti i na kraju im poželi sretan put.
6. Kad se vrata zatvore kaži prisutnima: "Bez panike, opet će se otvoriti."
7. Lupaj glavom o zid i viči: "Umuknite svi! Ušutite već jednom!"
8. Simuliraj zvukove eksplozije svaki put kad netko pritisne gumb.
